Brussels Sweeper Tram # 19

This “works” car is double-ended. It is a converted passenger tram that became a sweeper car. It has brushes under the car to sweep dirt and light snow off the trolley right-of-way.

The car was originally built in 1934 as car # 1052. In 1970, STIB (Brussels Tramway) converted it into work car #38 and again in 1981 to #19.
